The requirements for 3 safety awards are changed as follows:
Only dives made after full cave training be used to count toward an Abe Davis award.
The Abe Davis Safe Cave
Diving Award is presented to Full Cave trained divers who have
completed 100 safe cave dives.
The Henry Nicholson Safe Cave Diving Award is presented to Full
Cave trained divers who have completed 500 safe cave dives.
The Sheck Exley Safe Cave Diving Award is presented to Full Cave
trained divers who have completed 1000 safe cave dives.
The International Safe Cave Diving Endorsement is presented to
Safe Cave Diving Award holders who have completed cave dives in
five (five) countries. The
International Award was re-named to the Sheck Exley Award, in
March 2007.

INTERNATIONAL ENDORSEMENT
To apply
for this endorsement, fill out the appropriate form, and include
copies of your logbook showing the
number of countries for the requested endorsement.
